If you are planning for Kedarnath Yatra 2024, this is the easiest way to reach there
First you need to reach Haridwar or Rishikesh from your cities. Rishikesh is the nearest railway station from Kedarnath Temple
From Rishikesh or Haridwar you can easily find Buses and Taxies to Guptkashi and Sonprayag
After reaching Sonprayag, you have to park your vehicle here. personal vehicle or Buses are no allowed after Sonprayag
From Sonprayag to Gaurikund you need to take local taxi . it will just take less than 15 minutes to reach there
Kedarnath trek starts from Gaurikund, it is approximately 17-18 km trek to Kedarnath temple
The trek takes around 6 to 8 hours, depending on your physical fitness and weather conditions
If you are unable to complete this trek by walking, you have Ponies and palki facilities available
If you have a good budget, you can also hire helicopter services from Phata, Guptkashi and Sersi
